Manage Incoming and Outgoing Shipments: Act as the point of contact for shipments; coordinate deliveries, load/unload trucks, and create shipping records in the ERP system.
Maintain Accurate Inventory: Conduct cycle counts, physical audits, and reconciliations; update records and adjust discrepancies in real time.
Facilitate Material Integrity: Process non-conforming material accurately and quickly; communicate issues with relevant departments.
Assist with Inventory Reporting: Generate inventory reports and maintain shelf-life stock; issue purchase requisitions as needed.
Operate Equipment Safely: Use fork trucks, cranes, and other material handling equipment with proper safety procedures and certifications.
Support Logistics Functions: Ship documents and small packages and transport materials between customer and company locations as required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience—or equivalent education and experience.
Skills:
Solid understanding of warehousing principles, safety practices, and inventory workflows.
Intermediate computer proficiency, especially with MS Office, ERP/MRP platforms, and warehouse management systems.
Good arithmetic and measurement skills (both metric and standard).
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
Certifications: Must be able to complete company-provided safety/operations training for equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
Comprehensive Health Coverage: MEPPI pays 90% of the cost for medical, dental, and vision plans.
Secure Retirement: 401(k) plan with company match up to 4%.
Paid Time Off: Begin earning vacation after 90 days, plus enjoy 12 paid holidays annually.
Career Development: Take advantage of educational assistance and professional training programs.
Employee Perks: Access to profit sharing, a 24/7 on-site fitness center (Warrendale, PA), and MEPPI’s wellness program.
