Position Summary
Perform administrative tasks to ensure that customer commitments are met and production flows smoothly.
Essential Functions
- Prepare, update, maintain, and file Job Order information and shop folders for all production jobs.
- Update due dates on customer order lines.
- Create and follow documentation for short-shipped material.
- Collect, organize, and distribute information to facilitate purchasing and/or engraving of nameplates.
- Review, process, distribute, and maintain a master file of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Engineering Releases (ERs) affecting jobs and material substitutions.
- Operate the business system to input and update data and generate reports.
- Update the production schedule as needed. Work with the Production Scheduler to ensure the accuracy of the production schedule.
- Process paperwork, track parts, and control schedule for all inventory jobs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting a production operation, or equivalent education and experience.
- Advanced computer skills, emphasizing knowledge of MS Office products and MRP/ERP systems.
