MEPPI is seeking a strategic and driven Talent Development Director to lead the charge in transforming our performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Learning & Leadership Development:
    • Design and implement strategies for employee learning, management development, and leadership growth that align with MEPPI’s business goals.
    • Collaborate with leaders across divisions to identify skills gaps and deliver training initiatives that strengthen workforce capabilities.
  • Ignite Performance & Engagement:
    • Drive the design and execution of MEPPI’s performance management program, creating a culture of continuous feedback and growth.
    • Champion initiatives to elevate employee engagement and retention, cultivating a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Fuel Future Leadership:
    • Build and manage a company-wide succession planning framework to identify and prepare future leaders for key roles.
    • Partner with senior leadership to assess internal talent readiness and lead recurring talent reviews to keep development and succession plans current.
  • Transform Organizational Structures:
    • Work closely with the HR team to assess and refine organizational design, ensuring optimal alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Measure What Matters:
    • Track and analyze key talent development metrics such as succession depth, training outcomes, retention trends, and program effectiveness—then turn those insights into action.
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team:
    • Coach and manage staff according to MEPPI’s standards.
    • Provide training, cross-training, and ongoing development opportunities to support growth and performance.
    • Conduct performance reviews and make informed recommendations for promotions and compensation.
  • Partner with Key Stakeholders:
    • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to bring best-in-class tools, programs, and resources to MEPPI.
    • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to continuously enhance employee experience and reinforce MEPPI’s values.

What You Bring:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent development or organizational development.
    • Proven experience designing and developing programs related to company culture, performance management, leadership training and succession planning.
    • Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of organizational development, performance management, and employee engagement best practices.
    • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HR analytics.
    • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and training compliance.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
