MEPPI’s Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD) is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead daily operations across assigned areas and shifts. In this role, you’ll oversee warehousing, assembly, and testing of MEPPI products, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity goals are consistently met while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

What You’ll Do:

Lead Daily Operations:
Supervise warehousing, assembly, and testing activities, ensuring alignment with customer specifications, company policies, and safety requirements.

Develop & Empower Teams:
Train, cross-train, and provide ongoing education opportunities to build employee skills and strengthen team performance.

Plan & Schedule Work:
Prepare weekly schedules and daily assignments to meet production and shipping timelines.

Manage Inventory:
Oversee stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and lead annual physical inventories, ensuring materials and consumables are available as needed.

Drive Safety & Compliance:
Plan, coordinate, and participate in safety, production, and cross-functional meetings. Investigate accidents, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Support & Evaluate Employees:
Conduct performance appraisals, administer corrective actions, and resolve employee concerns fairly and effectively. Participate in the hiring and selection process.

Maintain Documentation & Quality:
Ensure all production process documentation and test records are accurate and complete. Promote a culture of quality and excellence in assembly and testing operations.

Coordinate Cross-Functional Support:
Partner with Engineering and Service teams to support special testing, prototypes, and training demonstrations.

Oversee Facilities & Equipment:
Manage factory equipment, coordinate maintenance, and ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly.

Promote Positive Culture:
Represent the Division with professionalism in dealings with customers and internal teams, supporting MEPPI’s reputation for excellence.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in production/warehousing with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of assembly/testing techniques, mechanical, electrical, and electronic applications.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.
