MEPPI’s Power Systems Engineering Division is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Manager to lead, optimize, and elevate all aspects of our commercial operations and strategy. In this role, you will integrate business development, contract management, financial oversight, marketing, and market intelligence to drive profitability, strengthen competitive positioning, and ensure long-term success.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape commercial strategy, streamline processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.


What You’ll Do

Lead Commercial Operations:
Direct and manage the Commercial Operations team to achieve division objectives and operational excellence.

Drive Strategic Growth:
Develop and execute commercial strategies that enhance revenue, improve profitability, and strengthen market positioning.

Own Contract Management:
Review, negotiate, and manage contracts in alignment with company policies and risk tolerance. Maintain a centralized contract repository for compliance and tracking.

Optimize Processes:
Streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance client response times across all commercial operations.

Manage Financial Performance:
Develop business plans, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor financial controls, ensure accurate invoicing, and track key metrics.

Support Sales & Marketing:
Partner with sales teams on opportunity tracking, proposals, and negotiations. Implement pricing strategies and margin improvement initiatives.

Measure Success:
Establish and monitor performance metrics for business development, profitability, and marketing effectiveness. Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations.

Develop Talent:
Lead, train, and mentor staff to achieve division goals. Conduct performance reviews and foster professional growth.

Represent MEPPI:
Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams to promote a positive, professional image of the division.


What You Bring

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.

Experience:

  • 7+ years in sales, commercial operations, and business development
  • 3+ years in management
  • Advanced expertise in contract negotiation and commercial strategy

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and financial analysis tools
