Summer 2026 IT Support Internship
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience to grow your skills and gain valuable hands-on work experience? Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026.
As part of MEPPI’s Internship Program, you will work in a professional corporate environment alongside experienced IT professionals, supporting day-to-day technology operations and contributing to ongoing projects that keep the business running efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Provide frontline IT support by monitoring systems and assisting with troubleshooting
- Methodically troubleshoot computers, peripherals, and core desktop software (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.)
- Support network connectivity issues including LAN, WLAN, and VPN
- Assist with printer and copier support
- Document incidents, requests, and resolutions using a ticketing system
- Support routine maintenance activities and process documentation
- Work directly with end users, providing clear, non-technical communication and empathetic support
- Manage multiple tickets and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Prior internship or customer-facing technical support experience preferred
- Experience working with a ticketing system
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
