Powering Customer Partnerships Through Exceptional Service Coordination!
MEPPI’s Service Center Division (SCD) is seeking a driven and customer-focused Key Accounts Coordinator to perform all aspects of service sales and service coordination for Key Accounts. In this dual inside-sales and service-support role, you will strengthen customer relationships, manage service opportunities, coordinate field activities, and ensure seamless delivery of service solutions that support customer success and long-term loyalty.
What You’ll Do
Inside Sales Coordination
Develop Business & Drive Growth: Identify and cultivate business opportunities for Key Accounts by selling services, extended warranties, and value-added offerings.
Build Customer Relationships: Maintain consultative relationships by providing guidance, information, and proactive support; identify cost-savings and new service opportunities.
Manage CRM & Sales Data: Maintain accurate sales opportunity and service order data in MEPPI’s CRM and business systems.
Prepare Quotes & RFPs: Prepare and present customer quotes, including RFP submission packages; follow up to close renewals, upsell service levels, and track customer budget cycles and close dates.
Support Sales Channels: Help improve “Point of Sale” and post-startup capture rates for extended warranties in coordination with the sales team.
Ensure Billing Accuracy: Ensure timely and correct invoicing for service contracts and extended warranties.
Improve Service Margins: Increase margins through strategic pricing, direct sales, and promoting MEPPI service quality.
Source & Price Services: Coordinate third-party services for non-MEPPI equipment, negotiate costs, apply margin, quote, and close business.
Track Lost Business: Record and report on lost opportunities to support continuous improvement.
Prepare Reports: Compile data and prepare reports summarizing sales, service performance, and customer insights.
Service Coordination
Schedule Service Activities: Coordinate services with customers, technicians, authorized service providers (ASPs), and vendors.
Process Service Orders: Create and manage service orders for parts, labor, commissions, billable service, and contract maintenance.
Process Payments: Generate and process paperwork to ensure proper payment for service provider work.
Coordinate Parts Orders: Create and process parts orders associated with field service activities.
Manage Maintenance Contracts: Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and completed on time for all active service agreements.
Respond to Customer Needs: Answer customer calls and written inquiries about field services, providing timely and accurate support.
Maintain Procedures: Update procedures and work instructions as required for process accuracy and compliance.
Set Up New Accounts: Work with Finance to set up new customers and service providers.
