Supply Chain Analyst – Critical Power Solutions

Are you a data-driven problem solver who enjoys transforming complex information into actionable insights? Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support our supply chain organization through advanced analytics, forecasting, inventory optimization, and performance monitoring.

In this role, you will serve as a key quantitative resource—providing the data clarity, models, and recommendations that enable smarter decisions, improved inventory performance, and stronger operational execution.


What You’ll Do:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Compile, analyze, and present supply chain metrics, including inventory health, demand shifts, procurement performance, and logistics KPIs.
  • Build and maintain advanced reporting dashboards and automated analytics using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Conduct variance analysis and root-cause investigations for inventory, forecasting, and supplier performance issues.

Forecasting & Modeling

  • Maintain PSI data and develop forecasting models for customer orders, supplier lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Translate sales forecasts into quantitative purchasing and stocking recommendations.
  • Perform scenario analyses to support capacity planning, purchase strategies, and inventory target setting.

Inventory Optimization & Risk Management

  • Evaluate vendor performance using statistical analysis, including trend analysis, lead-time variability, and risk scoring.
  • Support vendor forecasting and inventory optimization tools in collaboration with IT and cross-functional teams.
  • Generate inventory risk alerts using data models and recommend mitigation actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as an analytical liaison to Operations, Manufacturing, and Procurement, providing insights and supporting cost-saving initiatives.
  • Present findings in production and operational meetings and support biannual and annual planning cycles.
  • Assist with annual inventory procedures to support compliant, accurate inventory records.

Professional Representation

  • Support the goals and positive, professional image of the Division through effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply-chain or analytically intensive role.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, advanced data modeling, and supply-chain metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify complex information for varied audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple analytical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
