Powering Growth Through Strategic Inside Sales Leadership!
MEPPI’s Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead the activities of the Inside Sales Department. In this leadership role, you will drive execution of sales strategies, support long-term business planning, strengthen customer and vendor relationships, and ensure the Inside Sales organization delivers sustainable growth while minimizing business risk.
What You’ll Do
Lead CPSD Sales Strategy Execution: Drive the preparation, communication, and execution of CPSD sales plans and customer-specific strategies; support development and communication of the overall CPSD business plan.
Gather Market Intelligence: Obtain and leverage feedback from customers, prospects, vendors, and industry experts to support long-term business strategies and identify opportunities for new product development.
Track Sales Performance: Prepare and maintain internal sales reports and performance metrics to measure effectiveness of sales initiatives and business plans.
Analyze Competitive Positioning: Gather feedback on all bids; monitor market pricing; analyze competitor products and strategies; and report insights and recommendations to management.
Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and international partners, including TMEIC and MELCO, to support CPSD business objectives.
Support Forecasting & Inventory Planning: Develop and maintain forecasting metrics to support inventory management and demand planning.
Negotiate Commercial Agreements: Review and negotiate commercial terms and conditions; administer sales and business contracts to minimize MEPPI risk while meeting customer needs.
Develop & Lead Inside Sales Team: Lead Inside Sales staff in accordance with Company policies; provide training, cross-training, continuing education, performance feedback, and input on compensation decisions.
Standardize Processes: Collaborate with other CPSD department managers to develop Level II division Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Manage Budget & Expenses: Prepare department budgets and manage expenses in alignment with CPSD financial objectives.
Improve Inside Sales Processes: Continuously evaluate and improve Inside Sales processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Resolve Customer Issues: Coordinate and support resolution of customer disputes and escalated issues.
Ensure Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor and improve compliance with Limits of Authority, J-SOX controls, and credit policies; proactively manage division business and credit risk.
